Reflecting the popularity of the French rococo style in England during the 18th century, the Navarre is an English mantel that copies the French style whilst retaining the taller proportions typical of an English mantel. Carved in statuary marble. Shown with forged steel Burton andirons, Morris fire basket for dogs, black slate hearth and Reeded cast iron interior panels. Opening 46 3/4" W x 38" H Shelf 62" L x 10 3/8" D Overall size 58 3/4" W x 44 3/8" H Depth of rebate 1 1/8" Depth of jamb 8 3/8" Height of footblock 4 7/8"
